The presence of the Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Nirapatta Bahini (RNB) was also notable. Their active role in crowd control and security has made the journey safer and more pleasant for all. Despite improvements, some challenges persist. Fardin Al Mahmud, a passenger on the Rangpur Express, shared, “Getting the ticket online was quite difficult, but once I arrived at the station, the experience was smooth. The train was ready, and I found my seat easily.”

While online ticket booking in Bangladesh has improved significantly with platforms like eticket.railway.gov.bd, limited ticket availability during high-demand periods like Eid remains a common issue.

Bangladesh Railway officials have made significant preparations to manage the Eid-ul-Azha passenger rush. One of the key strategies is bringing trains to the platform well before their scheduled departure time to prevent last-minute chaos.

The Railway Ministry has directed all stations to follow enhanced operational protocols, including:

• Cleanliness and hygiene maintenance
• Security deployment
• Crowd monitoring with CCTV
• Coordination with local law enforcement
